Strawberry Fields Sourdough began as a humble cottage-style bakery, rooted in the care and tradition of a sourdough starter that’s been lovingly nurtured for over 14 years. What started as a passion for home baking in 2020 quickly grew into something bigger—by 2023, our loaves had developed a distinct flavor and signature style that truly set us apart.
Founded in New Mexico, Strawberry Fields Sourdough reflects both the land we call home and the journey of continuous learning. To refine her craft, founder Vanessa Kenner pursued research, mentorship, and an internship in the Pacific Northwest, where the sourdough community’s innovation and dedication inspired new techniques and flavor explorations.
